Yes definitely!! I've seen them with those thick leggings and a cape or blanket shawl and I love it!

I'm a big fan of colour but I think all black looks so sophisticated. Try different black textures like knitwear and faux leather to add interest. You could also add a statement clutch or like you said, a bold lip!

I do a mix of relationship, life, beauty and fashion posts and fashion ones take the longest. I love it though, it's fun to mix together outfits and talk about the latest trends. It pushes me to be more creative with my look every day, rather than now and again.

Ooh I love these, I've never seen dungarees in a smart style, I think the fact they are in black really helps tone it down

Misguided or asos. That winter pastel colour is very in right now so it shouldn't be too hard to find. Some days are quite mild but I'm not sure how it would look with tights.

I like the see though look but the pattern underneath looks gorgeous and the dress just distracts and dampens down the vibrancy of it.

I second H&M, they have lovely stuff and really reasonably priced!

I agree with the above comment! The belt cinches in the waist and almost makes it a bit feminine!

Faux fur is very big especially in icy pastel colours. Parkas were also seen quite a bit on the runway and they are also great in the rain! But I think just a nice tailored coat in a autumnal colour is very versatile and adds colour to any outfit too!

I love it!!! What you planned to wear with it will really tone it down and make it look smart but a bit quirky. I'd maybe swap the dark wash jeans with some black skinnys rolled at the ankle to show off the brogues though

How about H and M? I'd either wear with leggings and over the knee flat boots or a bodycon knitted skirt with some printed knitted tights. All about the knitwear basically!

I like the mix of colour but I'm not a fan of the white knitwear - I think it would look better in a charcoal grey. Really love the shoes though!

Missguided do lots of dresses like this and they have a stunning collection. You could also try Lipsy?

Definitely not over the top, you can get away with sparkle on important events! It's a really flattering shape! I'd wear with a big black clutch and nude stilettos

I generally prefer more tailored style coats but I think with some skinny ripped jeans and Chelsea boots you can add a feminine edge!
